A Student Masterclass Series with Broadway Stars!

Session One: Preparing for an Audition: Prescreening*

Tuesday, April 20th at 6:00pm OR Saturday, May 1st at 10:00am

If you have signed up for the first session, you should have already received the Zoom information for 4/20 at 6:00PM. If you did not receive an email with that info, please contact metg@metg.org!

Prepare for your next audition, school musical audition or college auditions. Participants will learn tricks of the trade on how to angle their camera, prepare a slate, and how to use proper lighting and sound. This class will also give you tips on how to help determine the correct song.

*Session One is REQUIRED in order to participate in Session Two

Session Two: Repertoire Building/Coaching Session

Participants will have 10 minutes to work on audition material with the team in front of the group. Individuals will submit a short pre-screening video and will then be asked to prepare one song to work on in front of the group.

These Masterclasses will be lead by Christine Dwyer (Wicked, Waitress, RENT) and Matt DeAngelis (Hair, American Idiot, ONCE).

The Sessions are open to all students in grades 6-12. They will take place on Zoom and are free to all students from METG Member Schools. There will be a $10 registration fee for all Non-Member students.
