Upcoming Programming for Middle School Students:
Middle School Workshop Day
Join us on November 5th from 9:30am-2:30pm to meet fellow theatre students from around the state and participate in amazing workshops that will help you become a better and more well-rounded theatre artist.
Middle School Workshop Day will be held at the John W. Wynn Middle School in Tewksbury - 1 Griffin Way, Tewksbury, MA 01876. All students must bring a bagged lunch.
This year's workshops will include Monologue Performance, Technical Theater - with a focus on props, sound design, and lighting, Stage Combat, and Dance. We will also be offering a Makerspace for all students.
Students do not need to attend with their teacher.
While the student workshops were going on, teachers had the opportunity to discover more about the benefits of METG and collaborate with other theater educators.
The Workshop Day is $10 for students from member schools and $15 for students from non-member schools. Teachers and Directors are welcome to attend! There is no charge for teachers. Once you register your student, you will receive a link to complete the METG Medical/Emergency Form - we must have this form from every student in order for them to attend.
We are excited for you to join us!
The deadline to register is Monday, October 31, 2022.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to metg@metg.org.
