The Boston Urban Outreach Program goal is to meet the individual challenges of each partner school by providing a range of services that include: teaching artists to provide weekly, sequential instruction in the classroom; mentor educators to provide teachers with technical, administrative, and artistic advice; and staffing support as directors, assistant directors, or technical directors.

With this program, students' voices are given the opportunity to develop their own artistic life. They write, design, and perform, all under the guidance of an experienced mentor/teacher. In essence, they further develop a unique cultural voice in their own school community through creativity.
